After 25+ years in education, she retired from teaching in May 2019. She taught Spanish at Eastbrook High School 1999-2019 and at Mississinewa High School 1994-1999. Prior to teaching Spanish, she taught English as a Second Language in Caracas, Venezuela in the early 90s. Nowadays, following a lifelong passion for family history, Kathi is a Professional Genealogist and has recently earned her credentials from Boston University in Genealogical Research. Her website www.HoosierKin.com is growing daily -- sharing her work, teaching research methods, helping others make connections to their own history.
